Visualization
Interactivity

The sculpture's form makes it visible from afar both day and night, enhanced by light. A Burner receives 12 minutes of Wi-Fi with a short instruction about the ritual and a notice of recording. Entering, they stand on an illuminated coffin-shaped platform. The doors close automatically, the light goes out, music plays, questions appear, a flash imitates fire and takes a photo. The door opens, the participant scans a barcode and receives a certificate of digital death and rebirth.

Philosophy

IDEA is a technological goddess: I means technology, DEA means deity, merging into a symbol of the future. The TH sign marks the threshold—the boundary of death and rebirth. Her name unites opposites, speaking of creation and destruction.

iDea is the axis of the world: alluring, motivating, generating, a symbol of energy and potential. The glowing sign in her chest unites masculine and feminine, penetration and conception, the spark of creation and binary code. She is a goddess of action, giving excess energy for growth, yet also a cold steel network dangerous to those who get rapped in it.

Above the portal shines Campbell's quote: "The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek." All myths point to the same path of trials: first becoming someone, then becoming yourself again. Entering the symbolic cave and stepping onto the pedestal, we become monuments to ourselves and remember who
we are, where we are going, and why.
